Quality memory at an affordable price
Strengths: High quality. Solid performance. Stable. Dual Channel Ready. Good price. Excellent value.
Weakness: Limited speed. Minimal overclocking potential.
Corsair is well known in the computer memory industry, and for good reason! Corsair has made it a habit to produce high quality items, and this memory kit is yet another in a long line of excellent products. This kit does exactly what it is supposed to do: provides 2gb of stable memory for your computer. I've been using the kit for about two months now, and I'm very happy. My computer handles...

Great Budget RAM
Strengths: cheap, moderate speeds, good manufacturer, lifetime warranty
Weakness: no heatspreader (although that's not really necessary), slightly slow
Corsair is a great company that produces RAM that all computer enthusiasts know of because of its quality. This Value Select module kit is not as fast as other, more expensive RAM. With speeds of 3-3-3-8, the fact that this is VALUE memory, this is to be expected. Speeds are much faster than the Kingston VS RAM. This RAM is recommended for anyone that doesn't need the best timings. There is...

Best Value DDR kit
Strengths: fast
Weakness: none
I got them for $99 after rebates on outpost.com. After adding 2gb of rams into my pc (already with 2gb), all the heavy loaded applications such as photoshop loads even faster. My Pc is now Turbo charged with 4gb rams. Basically the more ram you have, the OS will use less virtual drive from your HD for application swaping. Of course, I'm not a heavy gamer but I use several screen (4 LCDs) on one...

Way better than other Value RAMs
Strengths: Very stable and reliable, overall a solid performer with 15% margin for OC. Plus, you get Corsair's Lifetime Warranty.
Weakness: Not really a complaint, but my Abit AN7 mobo which uses the old nForce2 Ultra chipset freezes memtest86's #5 test when set to run *under* 200MHz, with the modded BIOS (Enduracell 18DE 1T). Weird.
I got this DC kit at Fry's on the Day-after-Xmas deal. The kit uses BrainPower D68001H PCBs with Nanya chips dated on 0547, made in Taiwan. My initial impression at the store was "a bit disappointed" when I saw the 'unknown' chips, as I heard people who got the same kit a couple of months earlier than me had Samsung UCCC chips (which are known to OC'able beyond 250MHz.) Although back then the...

good
Strengths: cheap
Weakness: no heat spreader
I thought that this memory kit was good and cheap. I would have liked it to have a heat spreader though. But for that price who cares....am I right?
